This piece was made while listening to 'The Sights of Equestria', so I think it'd be best if you listened to it while looking as well: [link]

Well, I won't say much about it. I hope that when you listen to that amazing song and see this image, you can get a feeling how they may go together, and form your own story for it.

I never do backgrounds or scenes or environments in general, so this was a challenge. Didn't have the grand feel I was aiming for, and my inexperience here really shows, but I did my best -- I'll just have to do better next time! About ten hours, SAI.

Edit: Hm, despite not knowing what I was doing, still got featured in Drawfriend 629, slot #38. Still pretty neat.

for not being experienced in backgrounds you've make it look easy. The whole thing makes me think of something you might see hand painted. I think you have more talent in that pinky finger of yours then you are willing to admit to.
